Aim of the project
The maintenance of internal pricing procedures and estimating the external and global effects of the different pricing requests of the affiliates requires huge effort on the HQ side. PriMa is the software solution designed to help pharmaceutical companies to make better and faster pricing decisions.
Technical details
The application follows multi-tier client-server architecture: the database server is connected to the second tier responsible for the business intelligence, while the third tier is the user interface. The server side application includes a database and programs responsible for the maintenance of the database itself, authentication mechanisms, etc. Users can access the system through a thin client. This setup minimizes administrative burden and a scalable application is created. The application can be accessed easily and safely from the internet.
 Results
- The price management tool assists the maintenance of the companies pricing procedures on an authenticated way while the different modules of the software help the decision making process:
- The basic module helps to estimate the losses and gains of the price-change in the initiator country
- The CRP (cross-reference price) module estimates the external effects of changing the price in one country
- The PT (parallel trade) module calculates the threats of loss due to parallel trade occurring after the approval of price change request
- The reports summarize the gains and losses of the different types of effects

- Tell us all your expectations regarding the application to make us able to align our solution to your existing workflows

- Affiliates are not recommended to see each other’s prices and to run CRP or Parallel trade simulation
- Do not centralize the administration roles: CRP regulation should be maintained by the affiliates’ pricing experts
